Serrano Martínez CMA has significantly invested in its environmental law offering of late. Most notably, in August 2024 it hired Pinilla González & Prieto Abogados’ former environmental practice head, Natalia Núñez Vélez, to lead the team. It followed this up with the hire of former Martínez Quintero Mendoza González Laguado & de la Rosa associate, María Fernanda Navarro, who joined in May 2025 following a six-month stint at the Mayor of Bogotá District Secretariat of the Environment. The team’s exponential growth saw it add an impressive raft of clients to its roster during 2024/25, including Suriki Nature and Colada Energy, while its services span regulatory compliance, project development and environmental litigation.
