Noted for its ‘interdisciplinary approach’, Pérez-Llorca (which entered the market in July 2025 through its merger with the former Gómez-Pinzón Abogados) is equipped to advise on the full spectrum of power, and oil and gas-related matters. Demonstrating strong activity in complex regulatory procedures, including contentious work, the team is also a popular choice to assist with energy and natural resources M&A, project financings and project development issues. During 2024/25, the group was particularly prolific in advising on renewable energy mandates. Most notably, practice head Patricia Arrázola — together with José Luís Palacios — continues to advise Soltec Development Colombia on regulatory, environmental, and commercial aspects of the development of photovoltaic projects. On the oil-and-gas front, Palacios additionally kept busy advising a string of multinational energy companies on various regulatory and transactional matters. The team further draws on Germán Villamil, who contributes four decades of experience in oil-and-gas work; corporate partner Lina Uribe García, who is responsible for the environmental law area; and Lina Correa, who serves as associate director of the environmental law practice.
