International arbitration boutique Adell & Merizalde operates from three platforms in Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic, positioning it as a key contender for pan-Latin American cases. Routinely engaged to advise on both commercial and investor-state matters, the team is experienced across all major industry sectors, with a focus on disputes arising from infrastructure, energy, mining and telecoms projects. Names to note in the Bogotá-based team include firm co-founder Juan Felipe Merizalde, who is representing the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Ecuador in proceedings under Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) rules related to the expansion of a highway in Ecuador.
