Jaeckel’s recent caseload includes advising Ecopetrol on a pre-evaluation request to the Competition Authority to approve a transaction between Ecopetrol and an oil-and-gas company. Montoya is equally active and recently advised Avianca on submitting a competition compliance programme to the SIC, following conditions imposed by the SIC for early closure of a previous merger-related investigation.
