Fangda Partners‘ projects and energy team was bolstered in December 2024 with the arrival of Monica Sun who joins Joe Zhou as co-head of the offering. The team handles regulatory work, major transactions, supply agreements, investments, and more across oil and gas, LNG, green field developments, transport infrastructure and energy transition-related projects. Hong Kong-based Michael Tam is a name to note for his capabilities handling energy, infrastructure, and real estate mandates, while Helen Yuxieu Huang is well-versed in advising on outbound investments into Africa, and the development of renewable power plants, ports, and other major facilities. Jie Li and Qiujie Tan both joined the team in August and November 2024, respectively, while August 2025 marked the joining of Shepard Liu.
