The large private equity group at Zhong Lun Law Firm serves some of the country’s largest funds and institutional investors, helping clients execute large-scale privatisations, financing rounds, acquisitions, operational matters, liquidations, and more in sectors including AI, biotech, semiconductors, and beyond. Catherine Chen and Borong Liu co-lead the team alongside Luke Zhang, who handles M&A transactions and various PE deals, and Tian Liu, who is sought after to advise on investments into AI, life sciences, new energy, high-end manufacturing, and other tech-driven industries.
