Work highlights

Represented Apple in landmark copyright cases, introducing sophisticated technical analysis in copyright disputes, including reverse-engineering applications to analyse the apps’ functional mechanisms.
Defended Moonton against Tencent in the copyright infringement and anti-unfair competition lawsuit filed before Tencent’s home court Shenzhen Intermediate Court, and we secured a favourable first instance judgment for Moonton.
Represented Nvidia in this very first case in China, formulating litigation strategy and responding to the complaint. In a landmark victory, we developed and successfully presented multiple non-infringement defences in the special “administrative adjudication procedure,” resulting in the dismissal of all of the NPE’s claims and an overwhelming win for Nvidia.
