Highlights include advising global alternative investment manager, Ares Management, on the tax planning surrounding the restructuring of high-value mezzanine credit agreements. In addition to high-level tax work, firm founder Fernando Barros advises on investment project developments, business strategies, and implementing corporate and financial structures; Carola Trucco has significant experience in advising major companies on the tax side to cross-border matters, M&A and business reorganisations; and the career of Tomás Kovacevic includes serving as tax policy adviser at the Ministry of Finance. In the firm’s senior associate ranks, María Luisa Marraccini also has former experience as a ministerial tax advisor; while Álvaro Oyarce is a December 2024 returnee from the New York office of multinational professional services network, EY.
