The 15-strong tax team at AVC Partners covers corporate taxation, international tax and tax advisory work; and on the corporate restructuring side, the group advises on franchises, mergers, divisions, acquisitions and due diligence processes. Wealth management, indirect taxation (including VAT), and representation before the Chilean Internal Revenue Service all constitute additional key areas. In 2024, the firm launched a tax litigation practice. Paula Abugattas, Jaime Castillo and Javier Valdivieso are highly-regarded tax law experts; while key associate María Isidora Calaf advises on corporate matters, tax law and litigation. Former associates Victor Tabilo and Pamela Vásquez left the firm in July 2024.
