Following the March 2025 departure of former name partner Felipe Bascuñán Montaner and a group of six lawyers, the former Allende Bascuñán & Cía is now known as Allende & Cía, with both the firm and the public law practice now led by Jose Alberto Allende - a ‘great advisor’ and 'magnificent lawyer' according to clients. The team advises on a range of administrative and regulatory mandates, handling litigation, sanctioning proceedings and constitutional disputes, among other matters; recent work includes aviation regulation litigation, planning disputes for mining companies, and sanctioning matters for companies operating without the correct licensing. Associate practice director Sergio Andrés Avilés is an expert in procedural law and litigation, with experience in administrative disputes, appeals, Supreme Court cases and arbitration.
