Following the April 2024 departure of Luis Felipe Arze, Fernando De Cárcer and Sebastián Barros, the projects team at CMS Carey & Allende is in a process of reorganisation. Longstanding practice head and name partner Jorge Allende Z can nevertheless call on fellow partners Jorge Allende D and Pabla Gainza. The dual-qualified (Chile & New York) Allende D has particular experience of public and private infrastructure tenders, backed by his know-how in corporate transactional, financing and regulatory contract matters. Gainza brings considerable real estate knowledge to the practice, where she has expertise in public works concessions, particularly as regards the survey of new routes, surface property analysis, easements and land use conversion, along with permitting matters. Corporate and transactional senior associate Adolfo Romero also has experience of the infrastructure, renewable energy, and project development sectors.
