The nine-strong projects and infrastructure practice at Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr has significant experience in the development and financing of power generation projects, particularly in relation to non-conventional renewable energy, mining, infrastructure and real estate. The team’s coverage includes public and private bidding processes, corporate structures and construction and financing contracts. Other key areas are due diligence, constituting guarantees, tax, labour issues, environmental impact assessments, risk analysis, and obtaining permits and authorisations. ‘Excellent negotiator’ Sergio Orrego has longstanding experience in industrial, infrastructure, mining and energy projects; and Gonzalo Errázuriz’s practice encompasses corporate restructuring, shareholder agreements, M&A and joint ventures.
