Further to the departure of name partner Felipe Bascuñán in January 2025, Allende Bascuñán & Co is now known as Allende & Cía. The firm’s labour law team assists with business restructuring-related labour issues, labour litigation, due diligence for employment contracts and collective layoffs. Other notable areas include employment terms and conditions, contract termination processes and collective bargaining, as well as strikes and unfair labour practices. Leading the practice, Andrés Garrido is a labour law and dispute resolution specialist, who ‘handles complex labour lawsuits very successfully’, while Matías Poblete is the name to note at associate level.
