Barros & Errázuriz

The four-member team at full-service firm Barros & Errázuriz routinely assists with the incorporation and establishment of insurance companies, as well as corporate governance issues and insurance company share sales. It also assists with the regulatory side of investment rules, risk management and internal control systems. The group additionally litigates administrative procedures and advises on insurance-related M&A. The practice is co-led by Carlos Ducci; an adviser to domestic and international companies on corporate law, foreign investment, M&A and joint ventures; and compliance and corporate governance expert, Javier Díaz. At senior associate level, Jorge Covarrubias’ wide-ranging practice includes insurance work; while Albert Harsch departed to join LATAM Airlines as deputy legal manager in October 2025.
