CMS Carey & Allende’s 20-strong ‘team is characterised by excellent response times and content quality’. The corporate and M&A practice in Santiago is well known for advising on high-value, cross-border transactions, particularly deals involving private equity sponsors, technology-driven businesses, and infrastructure and energy assets. The department is co-led by Jorge Allende Destuet, who has ’extensive experience in cross-border operations’; and Ramón Valdivieso, a telecoms and IT expert who acts on M&A transactions across Chile and Latin America. The second line of experienced practitioners features Nicolás Vial, an adviser on M&A, corporate law, and aquaculture regulation; M&A, private equity and joint venture specialist, Ignacio Errazquin; Enrique Vergara, whose M&A practice covers due diligence processes and investment vehicle structuring; and corporate venture capital practice head Ernesto Eckholt.
