Abascal’s areas of expertise include corporate governance, anti-corruption, legal entities’ criminal liability and the design of compliance programmes, particularly in relation to highly-regulated sectors such as health, food, medical devices and cosmetics. Vergara advises companies on the implementation and updating of crime prevention programmes, as well as corporate policies, internal investigations and due diligence processes; she is additionally experienced in commercial and corporate law, as well as regulated markets and consumer legislation.
