The sizeable, 23-strong team at BH Compliance assists over 200 domestic and international companies with monitoring their compliance programmes. With offices in both Chile and the US, the group’s expertise covers assessing the effectiveness of compliance and corporate governance practices; assisting companies with improving their internal policies and procedures on an ongoing basis; and the early detection of compliance shortcomings. The practice is co-led by chief operating officer Ramón Montero, a longstanding specialist in compliance, particularly the reinforcing and monitoring companies’ good practices; legal and compliance director Francisco Bilbao, who assists with measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of companies’ corporate governance; and Miami-based CEO and compliance, transparency, and anti-corruption expert Susana Sierra. Also highly regarded is legal and compliance sub-director Tomás Undurraga, whose track record at the firm includes leading the development of its web platform, which automates continuous monitoring processes.
