The six-strong competition and antitrust practice at Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr has significant experience in Competition Court (TDLC) matters, Competition Agency (FNE) investigations, and merger control assessments and notifications,. The group also advises on commercial agreements and distribution policies, including discounts, rebates, exclusivities and collaborations; while its international unfair competition expertise covers anti-dumping and safeguard cases. It additionally provides training and assists with implementing compliance programmes. The department is co-led by Nicholas Mocarquer, a member of the Chilean Bar Association’s Competition Commission since 2019; and Gonzalo Rencoret, whose practice covers TDLC procedures and merger control work, as well as FNE investigations into collusive behaviour and abuses of dominance.
