Guerrero Olivos’ five-member competition and antitrust group covers high-profile domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, as well as investigations and proceedings before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) and the Competition Court (TDLC). It also assists with antitrust litigation-related precautionary measures, and defending lawsuits that are brought by the FNE. The practice further advises on antitrust compliance programmes; and in addition to being particularly active in the consumer goods and retail industries, the department is also routinely engaged by companies from the energy, telecoms, mining, and food and beverage sectors to advise on day-to-day competition law issues.
