Senior counsel Gerry Stobo leads the team, with a proven track record in public procurement challenges at the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Stobo has also develop and defend procurement processes. At an associate level, Alexander Hobbs is regularly involved in high-stakes procurement litigation. Work highlights

Represented EllisDon Corporation in a complaint to the CITT alleging that PWGSC’s negligence in handling the bid documents had caused it damages in the form of the loss of opportunity to bid on other contracts during the two and half month period during which it was under contract to Canada.
Represented Spark Power Group Inc. (the winning bidder in a property management RFP) in relation to a CITT procurement challenge filed by its competitor, who alleged bias in the procurement process and the unfair evaluation of its bid.
Defended Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions in a CITT procurement challenge where an unsuccessful bidder claimed BGIS had unfairly evaluated its bid.
