Acted in matter concerning the governance of Caravan, a reporting issuer in Alberta. A dissident shareholder group brought an oppression claim against the board and former board members, who were also the majority shareholders in Caravan.
Represented the receiver, PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”), in a successful application for advice and direction in relation to a complicated receivership arising as a result of a large number of vehicle transactions alleged to be fraudulent.
