Work highlights

Acted in Nissan V Carlos Ghosn; this involved a very high-profile and complex recovery action brought by Nissan against its former CEO, Carlos Ghosn. The matter involved significant issues arising from breach of fiduciary duty, and of international enforcement following success at a trial before the BVI Commercial Court.
Acting for Interim Receiver-Manager Marcus Wide, appointed by Antigua’s High Court in December 2023 over PLH (Barbuda) Limited, overseeing a disputed US$1bn+ luxury resort project.
Acting for the Claimants (Ming) in a Hong Kong property family shareholding dispute. After a 2023 valuation trial, judgment in November 2024 awarded them the full amount sought, marking the BVI’s first published ruling on minority discount.
