With a presence across a range of sectors, including aviation, telecoms, and technology, the labour and employment group at Cescon Barrieu has experience acting for major companies in both contentious and non-contentious matters. On the contentious front, the team is adept at handling collective and individual claims prompted by unions and the Labour Prosecutor’s Office, while on the non-contentious side, the practice regularly advises on hiring and termination processes, compliance, and internal investigations. Dario Abrahão Rabay and Viviane De Azevedo Rodrigues co-head the department and bring a wealth of expertise to the group; Rabay concentrates on labour litigation, arbitration, and executive contracts, while Rodrigues stands out for her aptitude in assisting with a range of employment consultancy matters such as union and HR issues, labour aspects of corporate transactions, and internal investigations. Gustavo Da Silva Souto is a key contact in the department. Marilia Veiga Ravazzi joined as a partner from Mattos Filho in July 2025.
