We advised Hochschild Mining PLC and its Brazilian subsidiary, Amarillo Mineração, on the USD 60 million acquisition of the Monte do Carmo Project from Cerrado Gold Inc. Our work included negotiating and structuring the purchase agreement, creating security interests, and addressing complex cross-border legal and regulatory issues across Brazil, Canada, and the UK. The project, which includes key gold targets like Serra Alta, became Amarillo’s most significant asset.
