This broad skill set has helped build a strong and diverse client base, featuring leading companies in the technology, life sciences, financial services and energy sectors, among others. Leading the practice is Marcio Soares, who regularly represents clients before CADE in merger filings, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance cases. The team also benefits from the expertise of Renata Fonseca Zuccolo Giannella, who focuses on internal audits and compliance programme implementation. On the leniency agreement and settlement side, Michelle Machado is a key contact, while the ‘agile’ Eduardo Frade excels in merger control proceedings and behavioural matters.
