The group also works closely with the firm’s construction and tax teams to advise on the financing, development and ultimately the sale of projects around Austria. Michael Lagler heads the practice, overseeing both standard property deals and increasingly working on distressed transactions, where he acts for buyers and distressed developers alike. Clemens Rainer adds further transactional expertise, with particular knowledge of the market in Graz and Austria’s southern regions, with Markus Buchleitner handling the property aspects of both domestic and multi-jurisdictional M&A.
