Johnson Winter Slattery

Johnson Winter Slattery’s wide-ranging practice encompasses the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors. The team’s varied case load includes financing and security arrangements, offtake arrangements, PPAs, and ECI and services agreements. The department is under the leadership of seasoned partner Bruce Adkins, who is well regarded in the market for advising on the negotiation and documentation of high-value infrastructure, and procurement and supply contracts. Peter Rose is highly capable in the full gamut of transactional matters, from joint ventures to divestments, while Jee-Seon Lee is an expert in the wholesale electricity market, gas regulation, and renewable energy project development. Tom Barrett was promoted to partner in July 2025, and the team was further strengthened with the arrivals of Nick Thorne (from in-house at Barrick Gold Corporation) and Charlie Detmold (from Baker McKenzie) in 2024, and Tom Fotheringham (from DLA Piper) in March 2025.
