A spinoff from LCM Abogados in 2020, Cartasso Naveyra Abogados (CNA)‘s service offering spans corporate law, dispute resolution, real estate and re/insurance, but it remains best known for its strength in the aviation and aeronautical sector. The practice handles a full range of relevant matters including company registration; aircraft purchases, sales and mortgage; proceedings with relevant authorities (including the National Aircraft Registry, National Bureau of Operational Safety and National Bureau of Air Transportation), and regulatory and contractual issues, as well as passenger disputes, cargo claims and aviation accidents. Founding partner Eduardo Cartasso Naveyra is a 25-year veteran of the sector who has deep expertise in the sector, particularly as regards commercial aviation and aeronautical insurance. Associate partner Vanesa de la Torre has over 20 years’ private practice experience in the aviation sector and can also draw on previous in-house experience at Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas (LAPA). Associate practice director Sebastian Garcia del Hoyo is responsible for the firm’s domestic litigation portfolio, particularly in relation to the commercial aviation segment, while fellow senior associate Agostina Belén Sánchez is also a key contact for litigation in the sector.
