Consumer class actions are a cornerstone of Allende & Brea’s disputes practice, which is also well-positioned to act on contentious regulatory matters, aviation claims, and complex commercial litigation. The team is particularly active in advising multinational corporations, financial institutions and major domestic companies. The practice is jointly led by David Gurfinkel, who steers commercial litigation and arbitration (particularly in sectors such as insurance and consumer goods), and Cristián Fox, who is at the forefront of debt restructuring court proceedings, corporate conflicts and arbitration mandates. Key support comes from senior associate Carla Pérez Salvo, who is closely involved in bankruptcy-related contentious matters; and semi-senior Francisca María Guyot, who focuses on civil and commercial lawsuits. 2025 also saw the firm strengthen its associate bench with the addition of three new juniors.
