Marval O’Farrell Mairal advises a wide range of domestic and international companies on consumer protection and unfair trading regulations relating to false advertising claims, defective product liability, and data protection. Clients rely on the firm’s deep bench of lawyers for representation in individual and class actions before administrative bodies such as the Argentine Consumer Protection Agency, and in mediation, arbitration, and judicial proceedings. In cases of unsafe commercial products, the practice oversees the voluntary product recall process and any criminal litigation. The practice is led by Leandro Castelli, Fernando Montes De Oca and Facundo Viel Temperley, who all litigate product liability claims involving product recalls and personal injuries across the automotive, tobacco and tech industries. The senior bench is completed by Alejo Gascón, who was raised to the partnership in August 2025 and primarily advises on product regulatory matters and fintech-related litigation.
