A new and growing practice, Tavarone Rovelli Salim Miani‘s antitrust practice specialises in pre-merger strategy analysis and merger control issues. The firm’s expanding M&A and corporate department has driven the progress of the antitrust practice, allowing the firm to advise on merger control in relation to high-profile transactions, and complaints, responses, and investigations into anticompetitive practices. The team represents clients from an array of sectors, including retail, energy, investment services, construction, and financial services. The antitrust practice is led by Julián Razumny, who has drawn on over two decades of experience in corporate and M&A work to hone his expertise in pre-merger analysis and merger control issues. Senior associate Paula Cerizola and associate Consuelo Ortiz add to the firm’s competition and antitrust offering. Since publication, the practice has been further strengthened with the arrival of former Marval O’Farrell Mairal senior associate, Ignacio Mora, as a counsel in the corporate and M&A practice, but with a focus on competition and antitrust matters – effective as of November 2025.
