O'Farrell

O'Farrell has a wide-ranging antitrust and competition practice that works in tandem with other departments at the firm, with a particular emphasis on public procurement, public utilities, energy, and regulated markets. The team specialises in advising telecommunications companies, but also counts multinational and domestic energy, infrastructure, retail, entertainment, and automotive companies among its clientele. The practice is experienced in cartel investigations, advising on day-to-day antitrust and competition matters, complex merger control filings, and abuse of dominance proceedings. Practice head Agustín Siboldi is an expert in the telecommunications industry and has expertise in a wide range of antitrust matters, including economic investigations into anticompetitive practices, particularly in the hydrocarbons sector and regulated industries. The practice is supported by Jorge Muratorio, a specialist in litigation relating to regulated markets and public services, who is experienced in the competition law aspects of public procurement and contract execution. Ana Belén Micciarelli, who was promoted to partner in June 2024, leads on matters pertaining to economic regulation and litigation with the state in both federal and local jurisdictions. Associate Rebeca Fernández and senior consultant María Fortuna further support the team. María Agustina Fanelli Evans departed the firm in January 2024 for an in-house role.
