CT DPH Issues Order Modifying Administrative Procedures And Deadlines

As a result of concerns relating to delays and unavailability caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, on May 27, 2020, Acting Commissioner Deidre Gifford of the Connecticut Department of Public Health (“DPH”) issued an emergency order modifying certain administrative procedures and deadlines. A summary of these changes is set forth below.

1. Unless otherwise indicated, all open meetings and proceedings will be conducted remotely by conference call, videoconference, or other similar technology.
    
2. Notices of hearing will be delivered by email only and such notice will be considered effective and sufficient if it is sent to the party's last known email address of record on file with DPH.
