Dominion Bridge, a multinational construction company headquartered in Canada, will construct a 50 room luxury dive resort on Grand Turk. Dominion Bridge expects to commence construction early this year with a view to completing the project within a year. The project will be constructed on "Governor's Beach" adjacent to the residence of the Governor, Mr John Kelly. With a total cost of US $5 million some 50-100 jobs will be created during construction phase. Dominion Bridge is in discussions with various resort management firms for the ongoing operations of the resort.
