Consumer Prices in November 1995
Consumer prices in November 1995, compared to the previous month, increased by 0.4% in total. The prices of food products increased by 0.5%, non-food products by 0.4% and the prices of services increased by 0.1%.
Tax Income of the State Budget
In the first 11 months of 1995 tax income exceeded the budgeted sum of Sk 132 bn by Sk 4,64 bn. Income from VAT exceeded expectations by Sk 8,5 bn thanks mainly to a VAT Law amendment and the new mandatory use of cash registers. Income from excise taxes is lower by Sk 5,6 bn. For the first 11 months audits revealed Sk 8,7 bn worth of tax evasion.
