After 15 Feb. 2022, the authorities of Taiwan will reduce the quarantine period for travelers. The 14-day quarantine period will be reduced to 10 days, followed by a seven-day self-health monitoring period.

The authorities of Taiwan will allow select individuals to apply for a special entry permit, including dependent visas.

New entry restrictions for foreign national workers and citizens of Taiwan

The authorities of Taiwan began to ease border restrictions and quarantine requirements for international travelers beginning 11 June 2022.

The government of Taiwan announced travelers arriving from low-risk countries will no longer be required to quarantine at a government facility.
