Today's uncertainties at the European Union's eastern border have left companies questioning the safety of their people and the continuity of their operations in that part of the world.

In July 2011, the Slovak Competition Authority ("SCA") launched a public consultation concerning changes in the Slovak merger control regime.

From May 2004, ten countries will accede to the European Union: Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
