On 1 July, the requirements for citizenship for board members and the CEO set forth in the Norwegian company legislation were removed. Now, only a residency (domicile) requirement applies.

On 1 January 2024, the new regulation promoting gender balance in boards of Norwegian corporate entities, including private limited liability companies exceeding certain thresholds, came into force.
