В августе 2023 года Саудовская Аравия приняла Конвенцию Организации Объединенных Наций о договорах международной купли-продажи товаров (КМКПТ), вступившую в силу 1 сентября 2024 года. Это значительный шаг в модернизации коммерческого законодательства и интеграции королевства в мировую экономику. Итог этот шаг был, что Саудовская Аравия приняла КИСГ.

КМКПТ: Международная правовая основа для торговли

Конвенция ООН о договорах международной купли-продажи товаров (КМКПТ), принятая в 1980 году, предназначена для преодоления барьеров, создаваемых различными национальными законами в международной торговле. Она обеспечивает единообразный свод правил для договоров купли-продажи товаров между сторонами из разных стран, повышая предсказуемость и снижая неопределенность. Принятие КИСГ Саудовской Аравией ратифицировано почти 100 странами.
