Mediante Decreto Supremo Nº 071-2017-PCM, vigente a partir del 30 de junio de 2017, se aprobaron las "Disposiciones que regulan la implementación de la Modalidad de Publicación en la Gaceta Electrónica del INDECOPI" (las disposiciones)

De conformidad con el artículo 2° de las disposiciones, la Gaceta Electrónica del INDECOPI es el medio de publicación de las solicitudes de registro de marcas y de los demás elementos de propiedad industrial comprendidos en las normas comunitarias.

Según el numeral 2) del artículo 3° de las disposiciones, la Dirección de Signos Distintivos (DSD) y la Dirección de Invenciones y Nuevas Tecnologías (DIN), serán responsables del contenido de la publicación de las solicitudes de registro de marcas y de los demás elementos de propiedad industrial.
