Resumen Ejecutivo:

El actual Presidente de la República Mexicana, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a inicios de este año, presentó una iniciativa que propone la modificación de diversos artículos de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, en materia de simplificación orgánica.
Derivado de dicha iniciativa, la Comisión de Puntos Constitucionales de la Cámara de Diputados concluyó la elaboración del dictamen en el cual se propone la desaparición de varios órganos constitucionales autónomos (el “Dictamen”), entre ellos, el INAI (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales).
El Dictamen se presentará a discusión, y posible aprobación, en la Cámara de Diputados para el periodo comprendido entre el 1 y el 22 de agosto del presente año.
