Malta Looks Forward To Stronger Trade Relations With UAE

Dr. Chris Cardona, Maltese minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business, has attended the Malta Day celebrations that took place in Dubai on the 51^st anniversary since Malta became independent. The first diplomatic relations that were established between Malta and Dubai were established in 1973. Since then, both countries have expressed mutual solidarity whenever the opportune circumstance arose.

During his address to the present guests, minister Cardona expressed his pleasure at being present for the celebrations in Dubai. He further stated that the Maltese Government believes that the two countries will continue to strengthen their relations based on mutual trust and respect for the many years to come. The Maltese Government and Malta Enterprise, along the past years, have already brought numerous delegations of business leaders to the Gulf region.
