The Malta Institute of Accountants sees 211 new graduates &
members; awards local & global achievers.
The Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) held its 2015
accountants graduation ceremony on October 15th, bringing together
115 ACCA and 96 University of Malta graduates. The Republic of
Malta's President Emeritus, Dr George Abela, was the guest of
honour for the evening with some 700 people attending this event,
and a reception being held soon after.

"With over 2,500 members and counting, MIA (or the
'Institute' as it often referred to) is one of the fastest
growing professional bodies in Malta; since 1995 its graduates have
increased by 500% and membership has risen by over 400%", said
the Institute's newly appointed President, Mr Franco Azzopardi,
during his opening speech.
