西蔵（チベット）自治区拉薩（ラサ）市ハイテク区によると、チベットクラウドコンピューティングデータセンターが1期の第1段階プロジェクトの建設を完了し、試験運営を開始した。現在、世界で標高が最も高い クラウドコンピューティングセンターである同センターは、プロジェクト全体の敷地面積は64万5000平方メートル、投資総額は118億元（1元は約15.4円）で、竣工は5−6年後を予定。
同センターのプロジェクトは3期に分かれており、チベット寧算科技集団有限公司が運営し、建設内容には40万平方メートルの次世代データセンターが含まれる。3期のプロジェクトの投資額はそれぞれ28億元、30億元、60億元で、竣工後に約7万のキャビネットを提供でき、年間売上高は100億元を見込んでいる。
