The Isle of Man's Aircraft Register has marked another significant stage in its expansion with the arrival of the first European registered Embraer Phenom 100 jet which landed at Ronaldsway Airport after flying from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The Brazilian built luxury private jet bears the memorable registration M-INXY - and is owned by local company Midland Aviation Limited. The complex arrangements for the importing, registration and corporate ownership of the new aircraft were all handled by various parts of the ICM Group, including ICM Aviation and Inter-Continental Management Limited.

Mark Byrne, Group Director, said: 'It's always a special occasion when one of our managed holding companies' aircraft or yacht arrives on the Island, but in a year when we are celebrating our own twenty-fifth anniversary it's an extra special occasion. We are also delighted that it has proved a European first for the Island in an area where we are rapidly becoming known as world leader.
