ACIB = Degree

From September the Finance Training Agency will accommodate the ACIB/degree link. Staff from Bournemouth University, the accredited academic centre for south-central England, will teach a programme of courses leading to the degree at the FTA's Study Centre.

A spin-off from this degree programme is that it will benefit the trust and fiduciary sector. It is planned to include, within the menu of core and optional units on offer, those leading to the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Diploma which is a stand-alone qualification incorporated into the ACIB programme.

Bournemouth University will also be responsible for validating the CIB's Banking Certificate course which will be offered by the College of Further Education.
