Czech News - Nov 95 - Duty-Free Import
Czech RepublicLitigation, Mediation & Arbitration
The customs authorities have prepared a proposal that would bring the CR into line with OECD and EU practices by raising the limit on duty-free individual imports of goods, packages, alcohol and cigarettes.
The limit for imports of goods and packages would rise to Ke 6,000, for low-grade alcohol to two liters, and for cigarettes the limit would rise to 200. Because of the customs union, Slovakia must approve the changes before they take effect.
