07/01/2025 - E674 - Transitional period for the
provision of services in cryptocurrencies as defined in Article 143
(3) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on Cryptocurrency
Markets.
CySEC informs that according to Article 143, Paragraph 3 of the
Regulation, "Cryptocurrency service providers that provided
their services in accordance with the applicable legislation before
30 December 2024 may continue with the same practice until 1 July
2026 or until they obtain a license or not pursuant to Article 63,
depending on which of the two dates is earlier...".
