For her great customer service skills and dedication to her duties in registering companies, partnerships and trusts, Ms Wendy Scott received the Chief Officer's award for November 2015 as the top employee for the Ministry of Financial Services, Commerce and the Environment.

Ms Scott, a Customer Services Officer for General Registry, was presented with her certificate on 2 February. The honour is part of the Deputy Governor's Award scheme for all civil servants.

Her conscientious work entering data, such as the payment of annual fees; assistance with receptionist duties; and maintenance of an estimated 250 companies per day are some of the reasons why she was honoured, said the Ministry's Chief Officer Dr Dax Basdeo.
