On September 28th and 29th The Society of Trust and Estate
Practitioners (STEP) held its annual STEP Latin America (LATAM)
conference in Cartagena, Colombia. It was held under the theme
“Where Common Law and Civil Law Converge: The Cross Roads of
The Future.”
STEP is a unique professional body providing members with a
local, national and international learning and business network
focusing on the responsible stewardship of assets today and across
the generations.
Topics discussed at the 2018 STEP LATAM conference included the
Common Reporting Standard, Corruption, Bitcoin, the New World Order
